Sculptra\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0Aesthetic<\/a>, however, is a very popular and effective filler that works over the course of time to achieve desired results. Unlike other dermal fillers, Sculptra\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0Aesthetic works by stimulating the growth of the patient\u2019s own collagen. \u00a0Our patients in Pittsburgh have found Sculptra\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0Aesthetic to be a highly effective treatment, especially if they feel they need a little more facial volume.\u00a0 A key advantage of Dr. Leong\u2019s technique of injecting Sculptra\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0Aesthetic is that he only uses microcannulas<\/a> to perform the treatment, never sharp needles!\u00a0 This approach great reduces the bruising and swelling associated with the procedure as well as increasing the comfort and safety of the treatment.<\/p>\n

Sculptra\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0Aesthetic requires a series of at least three sessions and then a \u201cmaintenance\u201d treatment every year to continue to maximize results.
