I will decide if you are a good candidate for a Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty during your consultation. When scheduling, you can either choose to have treatment right after your consultation, or schedule another appointment to come back for the procedure. A Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty takes approximately 20-30 minutes in the office. Before treatment, I inject a local anesthetic to numb the area and increase comfort. Then I precisely inject the filler into specific areas of the nose to obtain the desired result. One of the advantages of having a Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty is that you will have the opportunity to observe the progress of the procedure and provide feedback as needed (using a hand held mirror). You may be a little red or swollen right after treatment, but most patients are able to return back to work immediately.

How long does a Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty last?

When a filler like Restylane®, Juvederm® or Perlane® is injected into the nose, it usually lasts about 8 months. Hyaluronic acid is reabsorbed into the body and the nose eventually returns back to its original shape.

Can a Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty make my nose look smaller?

A Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty can strengthen the bridge of the nose and narrow the angle of the tip, which makes the nose appear smaller. The amount of filler used depends on each patient and the level of correction needed. We strive to ensure that all patients are comfortable during procedures and that pain is minimized. Lidocaine is injected prior to the procedure to numb the area and reduce discomfort.

Why is Restylane® used over Radiesse® or Artefil®?

I prefer to use Restylane® due to its consistency and the outstanding results that I can achieve when using this product. Restylane® is a smooth hylaronic acid filler that can easily be administered without causing lumps or bumps in the nose. Another benefit of using Restylane® is the ability to remove the filler, if needed.
