This gentleman from Pittsburgh came to our office with a twisted nose due to a sports accident years ago. Surprisingly he didn’t have any breathing problems through his nose. He was bothered by the tilt to the right. Using the closed approach (without any incisions on the skin of the nose), Dr. Leong repositioned the nasal bones and cartilage to provide a straightened form.
Frontal:
The post-operative picture was taken one year after the surgery. When evaluating the success of a surgery to straighten the nose, it’s important to examine the results after waiting a year. Earlier results can be deceiving because a nose can twist a few months after surgery.
