This facelift patient from Pittsburgh is a terrific example of a lady who understood she had fairly early facial aging but wanted to maintain the youthful vitality of appearance. Many patients prefer not to wait for severe aging to set in, preferring instead to undertake facelift surgery somewhat earlier and avoiding abrupt changes in their appearance.
Frontal:
This view shows the main issues the patient was unhappy with. Her jowls are starting to decent, her cheek volume has lost its youthful position, and she is showing some early skin laxity in her neck. The after picture shows correction of all these concerns. Overall, she has regained her youthful vibrancy while maintaining a perfectly natural result. Obtaining natural looking results like this cannot be achieved with shortcuts. The same intense attention to details and advanced facelifting techniques was used with this patient as would have been done with a lady with greater degrees of aging.

Note the smooth and sculpted skin of her neck, including lower in the neck. Her cheek volume and marionette lines are greatly improved.
